It's layers in photoshop. I literally do not get it at all.
I use an absolutely archaic old edition of Photoshop Elements a friend gave me a lifetime ago. On the side, I will mention I am not going to bother getting a different version so let's end that thought process. Anyway, it is very capable of doing layers from everything I see on it. How I actually go about doing so is another story. I've spent hours watching to flowery tutorials about how to go about this and read more than my share of rambling posts about how to go about blah blah but I've never had an ounce of success actually layering anything. Nothing seems to sync up with anything being described. I feel like learning about layering is not entirely dissimilar to the business plan of South Park's underpants gnomes. Oh sure, everyone gnome does it and they somehow get by, but lord knows no one can describe what phase 2 of the plan is.

Just a brief note concerning Arachnid Goddess 2.
Hey everyone. For those who were following my webcomic, it's resuming under some simpler art standards, but I won't be updating it on here any further for the foreseeable future. If you care to continue reading it, Arachnid Goddess 2 can still be found on my ComicFury site. Otherwise, any regular art that you know me for will still be uploaded here. http://arachnidgoddess2.thecomicseries.com/
Web of Terror 7
In the past month or so, I had a hand in writing the script for Constrictor's latest production, Web of Terror 7. And now it's live!
Web of Terror 7 (starring Eden and Sumiko)
This was a lot of fun to write with Constrictor's input! We have two wonderful models, Sumiko and Eden, and plenty of spider web struggles (I made sure of that) ;) . Maybe consider checking it out if you like spidery perils and pretty girls? (And no, I don't get paid for this- this was all for my own enjoyment and hopefully, yours too!)
Arachnid Goddess 2
I'll still be making my regular illustrations as they come to me, but I've decided to use my little spot here on DA to host a mirror for Arachnid Goddess 2 as well. If you prefer the comicfury site, the link is here. http://arachnidgoddess2.thecomicseries.com/
New short story available, Peaches and The Pooka
(This one's not my usual dark or weird content. I just wanted to try something different for once. It's just a light hearted piece. It's only .99 cents, too.)

"It's been a long time since Joseph had contact with his childhood friend, Thomas Redcrow. One day, he receives an inheritance from his now late friend, in the form of a nice ranch house out in the countryside known as Shadybrook. Mystified but intrigued, Joseph moves to his new home.
Unbeknownst to him, he is not alone. A diminutive fairy with a serious penchant for mischief has taken offense over a misunderstanding between the two. Joseph must no

Like, imagine it like layering tracing paper. You do the outline on layer 1, then layer 2 is skin, and while you work on layer 3, Layer 1 and 2 are safe from errors or stray key strokes. And If you need to change it, say layer 2, Layer 1 and 3 are still safe.
But, no one says you have to do layers. People can stack pieces, on one or two. Some use hundreds of layers. When I had photoshop, that shit was like two massive layers. Also the DA MURO thing, has a layers option you can explore with.
